Deliver and teach qualifications

Here for every training provider in America

As the professional body for American computing, ACS gives your programs national credibility and gives your learners a recognized route into the profession — from a first digital skills class to professional Charter-level registration. Every single day.

What you can deliver with ACS

Registered apprenticeships

Deliver related technical instruction for U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeship programs in software development, cybersecurity, data, cloud and IT support. ACS maps instruction to the NICE Workforce Framework and provides the end-point assessment.

Apprenticeship delivery

Professional certification

Deliver the ACS certification portfolio — Certified Computing Professional, Cybersecurity, AI Practitioner and Data Engineering — with a fixed $35 exam fee, proctored delivery and an 80% pass standard.

Certification delivery

Digital literacy & workforce

Support adult education centers, community colleges, WIOA-funded programs and libraries with essential digital skills instruction for learners at any starting point, including returning workers and career changers.

Digital literacy programs

Program accreditation

Whether you train the public or your own employees, ACS accreditation is a national benchmark of quality — independently reviewed instruction, assessment integrity and instructor competence.

Accreditation

End-to-end support for your center

Center approval in weeks, not semesters

A single application covers your organization, your sites and your online delivery. Most approvals complete within 20 business days of a full submission.

Proctored testing, wherever you teach

Run exams in your own labs under ACS test-center rules, or use remote proctoring for distributed and rural learners across all 50 states.

Instructor recognition

Your instructors can hold ACS professional membership and registration, evidencing currency through structured continuing professional development.

Funding-ready evidence

Reporting built for WIOA Eligible Training Provider Lists, Perkins V, GI Bill and employer tuition-assistance audits — completion, pass rates and credential attainment.

How approval works

  1. 1. Apply. Tell us which programs you intend to deliver, your sites, and your instructor roster.
  2. 2. Quality review. ACS reviews instructional design, assessment security, learner support and accessibility.
  3. 3. Approval and onboarding. You receive your provider code, exam booking access and the ACS Approved Provider mark.
  4. 4. Annual monitoring. A yearly review of outcomes, pass rates and learner feedback keeps your approval current.
